Esbjerg has for many years been behind when it comes to cafe environments. The demand for a cafe that focused on quality bread and coffee grew bigger and bigger and it was no longer to be ignored.
When the beautiful property on the corner of Stormgade and Kongensgade in Esbjerg became vacant, there was only one option - strike. With 29 years of experience and expertise in the baking profession at local and national level, and an idea to create a new, solid and quality-conscious concept, Café Guldægget was laid on the drawing board. It took just under two months to renovate a 103-year-old store in order for Café Guldægget to open its doors to the people of Esbjerg on 4 July.
