Bornholms Medieval Center is a knowledge-educational experience center that works with the live dissemination of Bornholm, Danish and European medieval times. The adventure center is located 15m from the Østerlars Round Church in the beautiful Bornholm nature with woods, rivers and rocky hills.
Here you can discover the Middle Ages from many sides: In the fortified magnate courtyard with palisades and refuge tower, the great man's luxurious banquet hall and chambers, in the cozy rural property with cabbage garden, watermill and historical animal breeds, on a walk along the old sunken road, the outfield, the fairground forest And at the gall baking.
You can explore archeology world in our field of activity by the stream, you can take the rune hunting, or try your creative abilities as medieval artist in the paint shop.
Bornholms Medieval Center's overall theme is "Culture and Nature in the period 1300-1450".
Social work
Bornholm's Middle Age Center is also a social economy, where there is also room for vulnerable people and people on the edge of the labor market.
Bornholm's Middle Age Center also works closely with BornPro production school at a medieval workshop with 3 lines and 3 teachers.
