Welcome to the Danish Police Dog
Association The Danish Police Dog Association was founded in 1909. The association is divided into 7 Areas and 51 local associations. The local associations are distributed throughout the country.
The association's members consist of police officers with police patrol dogs (section I) and civilians and police officers with civilian dogs (section II). In addition, the association has a number of passive members.
The association publishes the member magazine Police Dog .
The purpose of the association is:
• to create interest in the breeding and dressing of police dogs and their practical application in police work and among civilian members.
• to have civil dog inspections and a police dog record. This selection is in relation to breeding, to be considered a test dog.
• to hold competitions based on practical police dog work.
• to seek cooperation on competitions and police dog work with similar associations at home and abroad.
