Strandgaarden is owned and operated by Jette and Finn Jæger Andersen, who took over the original Strandgaarden in 1992 after Finn's parents who had been operating a restaurant here since 1961.
In 2004, Jette and Finn Jæger Andersen built the new beautiful buildings on the square in Henne Strand, thus setting the square to a central venue in Henne.
The kitchen is today led by Niels Urup, in collaboration with Finn Jæger Andersen. Niels is educated at Strandgaarden. and after a period of work as a chef in Geilo in Norway and Århus, Niels returned to Strandgaarden, where he is today chef.
